Take one SUV, seen here on a quiet Birmingham street:

….drive it and another with a team of four more than 1500 miles from Britain to Kyiv. And then get it transformed to become a life saving battlefield ambulance equipped with the latest medical equipment:

The two vehicles made the journey thanks to Fiona and Jerry Marsden (seen in the middle in the opening picture) as they raised cash for the journey to save lives on the Ukrainian front.
Now they hope to raise £9000 ($11,460) to provide special stretchers that can be used by a single person to take the wounded back from the frontlines to be treated. Their full story is in this link to their crowdfunding site if you wish help out.

Fiona, who’s a lawyer, and Jerry, a hospital doctor, said in a joint statement: ‘Ukrainians need to know that they are not alone. The war may seem far away, but it lurks, corrodes and permeates everything and, above all, the value of an individual life.’

Hi Richard,
Our wee Ukrainian POW chapel and Heritage barrack in Lockerbie has been supporting efforts like this since Feb 2022.We transport all kinds of humanitarian aid on a weekly basis. Lockerbie Rotary have just sponsored a load of professional tourniquets and local people roll up on a weekly basis with medicines , bandages and all sorts of helpful artefacts for the territorial army. God bless the all!
This weekend we are hosting the IKONS ON AMMO BOXES exhibition.
